Who we are
Engineering Atlas (engineering-atlas.in) is a learning site run by Abhishek Goyal, an individual based in India. For anything in this policy, email contact@engineering-atlas.in.
Reading without an account
You can read every free guide without signing in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
What we collect when you sign in with Google
- From Google: your name, email address, profile picture URL and Google account ID. We request only the
openid,emailandprofilescopes — we cannot see your contacts, files, Gmail or anything else. - Session records: when you signed in, when the session expires, and your browser’s user-agent string, so you stay signed in for up to 30 days.
We use this only to sign you in, show your name and picture on the site, and (when available) give you access to premium content you are entitled to.

All are first-party, essential cookies. None are used for analytics or advertising.
Where your data lives
Account data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database (Asia-Pacific region) and served by Cloudflare Workers. Only a one-way hash of your session token is stored, never the token itself. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone, except Cloudflare as our hosting provider and Google as the sign-in provider.
Payments
If paid plans are introduced, payments will be handled by a payment processor; we will never see or store your full card details. This policy will be updated before that happens.
How long we keep it
Expired sessions are deleted automatically every day. Your account record is kept until you ask us to delete it.
Your choices and rights
- Sign out at any time from your account page.
- Delete your account: email contact@engineering-atlas.in from the address you signed in with and we will delete your account and sessions within 30 days.
- Revoke Google access: remove “Engineering Atlas” at myaccount.google.com/connections.
- You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, or for it to be corrected, at the same email address.
Children
The site is intended for people aged 18 and over, or younger users with a parent’s or guardian’s consent.
Changes
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above changes too. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
