1. Who we are
Engineering Atlas (engineering-atlas.in, “the site”, “we”) is an online learning platform operated by Abhishek Goyal, an individual (sole proprietor) based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. The service
The site publishes technical learning content about software engineering. Most content is free. Some lessons are premium and can be read in full only with an active pass (see pricing). All content is delivered digitally through the website; no physical goods are sold or shipped.
3. Accounts
- You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure.
- You must be 18 or older, or use the site with the consent of a parent or guardian.
- Provide accurate information and do not impersonate anyone.
4. Passes and payments
- A pass gives the account that bought it access to the premium content in its scope (for example, the Java Interview Prep course or, with the Article Pass, every members-only article) for the period chosen at purchase (any period from 1 to 12 months) from the time of payment.
- Passes are one-time purchases. They do not renew automatically and you will not be charged again unless you buy another pass. Buying a pass while one is active extends it.
- Prices are shown in Indian rupees (INR) and include any applicable taxes. We may change prices for future purchases; a change never affects a pass you have already bought.
- Payments are processed by our payment gateway, Cashfree Payments, under its own terms. We do not receive or store your card, UPI PIN or bank credentials.
- Premium content within a pass’s scope may be added, updated, reorganised or retired over time to keep it accurate; the pass covers the content as it exists while the pass is active.
- Refunds and cancellations are covered by the refund & cancellation policy.
5. Licence and acceptable use
Content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial learning. A pass is personal and may not be shared, resold or transferred. You must not:
- copy, republish, sell or redistribute premium content, in whole or in part, including by screenshots, scraping or automated downloading;
- share your account or sign-in session with others;
- attempt to bypass access controls, probe or disrupt the site, or use it for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where access is withdrawn because of a breach, no refund is due.
6. Intellectual property
All text, diagrams, code samples, design and branding on the site are owned by Abhishek Goyal unless stated otherwise, and are protected by copyright. Short quotations with attribution and a link are welcome. Code samples may be used in your own projects. Trademarks and logos of third parties (for example in Tech Blogs) belong to their owners and are used only to identify their content.
7. External links
The site links to third-party websites, including company engineering blogs. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
8. Disclaimer
Content is provided for educational purposes, “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it accurate but do not guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free, or that it will lead to any particular interview or career outcome. Test code and advice before relying on them in production.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that pass.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Changes apply from the date they are published and do not affect passes already bought.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
